The weather was beautiful, as was the forest and the rest of Dartmoor. @plainoldvinnie A lot of places your not allowed to have fires on Dartmoor but then there are some places you can (with permission).

We recently did another trip to Datrmoor, this time just taking 10 items with us each! :) Unfortunately my camera died on Day 1, I wanted to do a video about the trip but couldn't! As one of the lucky four to make this trip I just wanted to thank Ashley for this great video. This is one of those weekends that I will remember for the rest of my life. Great company, fantastic location, superb weather, excellent food and much laughter. Thanks to all for making it so memorable.

I rode my m/cycle accross Dartmoor many times in the 60s Never had the pleasure of hiking though.Very nice video,brings back memories. I live in the USA now..

i live in north devon and ive been on dart moor a few times although ive never made a fire there. which area is it you chaps camped at?
