Two guys Yura and Frank drive from Melbourne to the red heart of Australian outback - Coober Pedy, Uluru, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs. Both of us are interested in long-distance radio, so we took a WinRadio receiver with us to see what sort of radio reception one gets in the middle of nowhere, using a piece of wire as an antenna. We ended up listening to European stations in the Australian desert! We did over 7,000 km in 2 weeks, which included staying in some unforgettable places for a couple of days. A superb adventure; we'll do it again!
Funky vid Frank! Love the spirit of the outback you captured. Reminds me of a trip when Ed and I drove up the Tanami Rd from Melbourne - taking in most of the same sights. Hope you got a commision for the radio ad :) And only one video post - awaiting the next production

@sorryociffer: This *is* a full dedicated radio, mate, much better than Icom. Icom has lost its innovative edge long ago.
