So I can't set the object I want to Shape tween as a symbol. Alright... that's where I was messing up. Damn flash is complicated!

You're welcome! Also, Flash 8 and newer will generally convert your objects to symbol automatically as soon as you apply a tween on the timeline. Just use Ctrl+B to break the symbol.

Yeah... I noticed that... It actually makes it pretty annoying how many symbols I end up with at the end. And they're all called tween 1 and tween 2 and stuff. But I guess there's no way around it.  Anyway, thanks for the help. n.n
