  • This is good... thanks! I own the Sony MZ-RH910 and the MZ-M100 Hi-MD and I use both interchangeably with great success and NO problems! At some point soon I will purchase the Sony MZ-Rh1 or the MZ-M200 . I only wish Sony would stick around and support their products for longer periods of time as the current abandonment of HI-MD is clearly premature and short sighted on the part of Sony!

HI-MD is NOT-dead, just the Sony's future involment and support. HI-MD a great media format!

  • @athomew Thaaaanks for your nice message. I have read in the newspaper Sony stops the production in september of MD-recorders. The best regards for you!!!

  • I love Md disc! nice md!

  • @sheepgoatdogcat Yeah, sad commentary. That's why these devices were so popular outside of the USA and of course made in Japan and used in all of Asia and Europe.

Anything requiring a bit of effort in terms of getting something or learning something becomes too much...but what about smartphone use though?

  • @wendileona Yeah, that's a pretty sweet feature, isn't it? A bit too complicated for most Americans though.

  • is this a joke?

  • ?Right...?

  • Her english is better than my german, Go Marra!

  • Oh and you can also EDIT radio, live, voice, etc. recording and precisely to the nanosecond, kind of. I do it on my MDLP deck and I love that I can edit out commercials at the exact place. Its like cutting up audio in an computer audio software but just with numeric/text information as guide!

  • Marravilla - you can record also from old rare cassettes, from a mixing board, from anything with an audio output! I use MDs for recording my drum/music practice for review. Lots of fun!
