2 SOO MILW BANDIT (S) POYNETTE, WI 3-06-2009

2 SOO/MILW BANDITS (2066 & 2064) I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO VIDEO TOGETHER NOT FAR FROM MY RESIDENCE. THEY WERE STOPPED TO SWITCH OUT A COUPLE OF CARS BEHIND THE LAKESIDE FOODS WAREHOUSE JUST NORTH OF POYNETTE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN TWO BANDITS TOGETHER IN PERSON. THE 2066 IS A FORMER "HIAWATHA" SCHEME GP40. YOU CAN SEE THE DIFFERENCE IN THE TWO BANDIT ENGINES BY WHERE THE BLACK AND ORANGE PAINTS MEET. 2066 WAS ONE OF THE FEW GP40'S TO GET THE LAST NEW MILW SCHEME IN THE EARLY-MID 1980'S. A VERY LUCKY FRIDAY FOR ME!!!!! **VIDEO WAS RECORDED USING A PANASONIC DMC-F7Z DIGITAL CAMERA.

I last saw 2064 on 12/18/09. It was still orange and black.

Indeed they did! It appears to be intentional disrespect has been paid to every Milwaukee Road engine that made it through the merger. How sad.
