Desi Hits! had the great privilege of visiting T.I. in his Atlanta studio a month prior to his incarceration. He welcomed us into his home away from home as if we were family. During this time, T.I. was excited to learn about Desi culture - especially our music! We brought along talented singer and musician Vishal Vaid to educate T.I. on some of India's cornerstone instruments and sounds. @vef3nelo thing is bhangra is a different Indian music genre that comes from north india from punjab mainly associated with the folk music from the people of the religion of sikhism it is also done by muslims and hindus. This guy is showing classical indian music that goes back many hundreds of years comming from originally a thousand years. He trying to compare like hip-hop to opera there is some use of opera and classical music in hip hop, rnb but its old stuff for older generations.
