You play DDR with Foot? or Hands?
Because I See the Edit Step is easier than the Original Expert step.

I usually play steps of 6-9 footer with foot in arcade, but this video is recorded by play with hands for reference of rhythm and timing. I don't have a dance mat for PS anyway, because PS/PS2 versions are almost only for edit.
