About Mark Wills:

I got to visit there in 2001, 40+ years after I left Ohio for Cal. and was amazed at the memories I had cherished of this place were still so accurate because of the lack of change. I want so bad to take my wife and daughter back there so they can see what helped make me who I am to them today

Actually the Romans were impeccable record keepers and there is a record of a Jesus of Nazareth being executed. After that is what separates the West from the East. In the West we record events for accountability. The East records its 'history' through poems and songs. There was (and still is) virtually no accountability for officials which explains the utter corruption of Eastern Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa. Even the existing corruption in the West is permitted by the Rule of Law.
