Another great track off their first LP 'Kinks', produced by Shel Talmy.
One of the few non-Davies/Talmy songs on it, this, no surprise is by Bo Diddley

  • Was the first Kinks album only mixed in mono? I have the Rhino CD that was released back in 1989 or so and it features a great sounding stereo mix. I know so many of the albums back then were issued in "fake stereo" with the early Stones and Yardbirds albums sounding REALLY lousy.

  • @MattHatter According to my big fat book - the export-only pressing was in stereo - mono only for the natives!

  • whats the album called

  • Quite simply 'Kinks'

  • Non so chi li ricorda!!!!!

  • Love The Kinks

  • I prefer The Firm's cadillac myself! ; ^ )

  • im not ashamed to say it - the kinks taught me how to spell cadillac

  • Love this one. Thanks for uploading.

  • Thanks. LOVE the Kinks...BUT 8 of 14 songs are covers. The Stones (love 'um) first album, 6 months b4 this one, had Jagger sing ONE original. (Listened to half of each so far-Kinks better at blues, Stones at Bo. Beatles WAY more talented at this early stage. Not for long, tho.)
