    FYI you might want to get more than the standard battery. I have the extended and have been listening to a podcast for 2 hours on battery and still have over 95% battery. Might have a defective battery

    Simply put no. I beleive that the major part this app plays is the updating feature. Force stopping and clear data is basically like clearing the temp folder on your PC at home or clearing your registry. It doesn't delete the program just clears out the crap it's had from a while ago.
