Protest against fur trade on LeShow-2007

June 6th, 2007 - Moscow. During fur demonstration in Expocentr on Krasnaya Presnya the members of Alliance for Animal Rights defiled at the podium. Holding in hands posters with the image of skined fox they scand "Fur is a murder!". They also scatterd the leaflets and blocked the podium for models in fur coats. The seciruty guard reacted slowly as the activists have occured unexpectedly. So animal activists were accompanied to an exit and nobody was detained.

The action is connected with the 10th International Leather and Fur Trade Show "LeShow-2007" in Expocentr which is known to be one of five world largest exhibitions of tanning and fur production. Animal activists have distributed among the participants and visitors of
exhibition the leaflets with the description of cruelty of fur industry. Annually tens millions of animals perish in traps, from poison, electroshock and gas for the profit taken by furriers.

Activists are going to continue the actions with purpose to stop murder of animals as they suffer not less, than people.
