@MrBeansMommy: i went to college at a suny school, and my friends there had never heard of fred penner's place, polka dot door, under the umbrella tree, mr dressup, or the littlest hobo....such great shows to watch growing up in the late 80s....

Yeah this show was broadcast in Atlantic Canada and Bangor area of Maine. I use to watch American Cartoons on those Bangor based networks.

OMG this was the first show I watched as a 7-8 years old back in 1989 and I am seeing it after 22 years, it brings really nice memories, the theme of the show always sticks with you even after 23 years! Thanks for the upload!

I didn't have a care for cable because I could get it on UHF and VHF! I really miss this great show and it seriously should be on DVD so it can be watched back-to-back!

Greatest shows growing up: Fred Penner's Place, Mr. Dressup, Under The Umbrella Tree, Elephant Show, Today's Special, Where in the world is Carmen Santiago, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Tale Spin, Animaniacs, Saved by the Bell, Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step, Perfect Strangers...am I missing something?
