In 31 years of songwriting, Regie Hamm has written several number one hits and has had several hundred recorded and charted. 5 years ago, everything that seemed normal in his life, changed profoundly. Regie and his family found themselves digging into the depths of their souls for resolve....then a $10 song contest entry changed everything.

While I don't guarantee that this story will bring tears to your eyes, I do believe it will send shivers down your spine with it's testament to a certain divinity. I am proud to have been able to represent Regie in this light so that he may tell his story.

Your story came back around to China where you saw that after the struggle, things turned out okay. David struggled to make it in Tulsa, the city where the Idol tour concluded, and things turned out okay. I'm so happy for both of you. It is truly, as David said, poetic.
