Give him a break,he is obviously talking to young kids or people with no experience whatsoever.
Santana admitted that when he had his first electric guitar, a present from his dad,he fitted nylon stings and wondered why there was little sound through the amp....the rest is history......of course there are trolls out there who are jealous of his fame and run him down.
Every guitarist has to start from the beginning no matter how famous or unknown they are now.

GEE WHIZZ !! thanks for telling me how to plug me guitar into me amp
before this i was plugging me guitar into the tv.and while one day i done that me guitar cable was moving up and down while playing me guitar and the cat saw the cable moving..and jump on it with terrible results !!! the tv blew up and me cat got electrocuted....and i managed to master the dreaded F barre chord !!
