Slugs ability to pack his lyrics with irony is beyond amazing. No disrespect intended to any of the emcees out there topping the charts, but it blows my mind that Slug isnt considered the greatest rapper alive.

@JRY17 yea thats exactly it. there is nothing wrong with a TV, it does very little. Its our own willingness it give it uncountable hours of our lives for no purpouse at all that make it sickening. we mentally have to move past it, and our actions will follow

@RHCP10206 yes if you could convince people that too much tv is having a negative impact on their health and influence them to change their habits it would solve the problem, because tv isnt the problem..not really as i said and you may or may not have meant to show was that it's the peoples will that takes them to tv. but like i said people wont change and w/o tv they will just look for another source of escape, they wont become enlightened through removal of the drug, their will must b changed

@JRY17 try reading william s burroughs thoughts on how to cure addiction ( to drugs in his case ) by treating it like a disease if you havent already. You could apply parts of it to this situation

@JRY17 Obviously theyre not the only people to ever mention it, but saying canceling it isnt goin to do anything is not necessarily true. It depends how one goes about doing it. Simply removing TV might solve it, people will be forced to find new, hopefully more productive, hobbies with the TV not being right there. If you tried that with heroin, yea people would find alternatives to heroin. But if you can make the change to make them remove it from their own lives by choice, its problem solved.

It's common knowledge that people today abuse the technology we have created but cancelling it isnt going to fix the problem. people will find something new to keep them distracted.

@OREOSMonster2347899 thats a hell of a song but there are better... ive decided myself not to rate what the best song is, though. my favorite is sunshine because its life's song but thats me. go back to overcast! and lucy ford and some of his other albums, his new stuff too
