1/4 watt tube amp

1/4 watt all tube practice amp. might be less than a 1/4 watt. good sounding and still quiet cranked to 11!

Great tone from what I can barely hear. Any chance of buying one or getting a schematic?

@1luckycat you can build one with a little 1k ohm to 8 ohm tranformer from radioshack. i just used a Firefly schematic and left off the boost stage. i used a vlotage multiplier for the b+ .its only running on 60 volts or something. i built it a while ago. cant remember lol..if you cant figure it out send me a message and i will help you out for sure. I havent sold one of these yet. only the one watt and up. Either way send me a message and we can figure it out. Thanks!

@bluze86 Yeah he is on diystompboxforum .Send him a message and ask for a better clip...he has an amp called Obsession that I really really want. I will buy one when I get the extra cash cause he does super work and I want to own something he hand built. Are you looking for a bluesy break up or cleans so you can run a pedal? Either way he has both. He has the Superfly as well which is also cool.

@bluze86 If you are looking for prebuilt amps I can get you to the maker of the murderone and several other amps. He does sell them and his designs are solid. The price is also quite reasonable. You will have a better amp too. Let me know if you want his info to order. I think you will be much happier.

@forbyn too bad, there are not many clips of the murder one... you see, giving me a soldering iron is like giving a gun to a monkey... somebody will get hurt. therefore, i'm looking for something pre-built. maybe i should just get an engl e530 instead.

@bluze86 no...the murder one is way cooler! Lol...its the power section of a firefly running on 60 volts and no cathode resistor. Preamp is a valvecaster with no tone knob. I just figured people who want a murder one are looking for a low volume tube amp so I tagged it with that. It uses sub mini pentodes though I think. They sound sweet.
