1950s Barcelona. In Bar Manolo, a daily ritual of great seriousness is in progress: the customers are intent on the radio broadcast of a football match.

Manolo, the owner, who represents the dictatorship's grey conservative order, hasn't the wildest idea how thoroughly the unexpected arrival in his bar of two American marines will revolutionise his mentality.

Bar Manolo becomes the setting for a cultural collision, unleashing a wild party. Circus pays homage to the air of freedom that shook those times to rock 'n' roll's crazy rhythms.
