@TheOriginalEntz You are right about people educating themselves. Ants keep aphids as they drink their sugary "output". Aphids damage plants. Then there are ants that directly attack plants such as "leaf cutters" and ants that cut leaves and such to grow fungus underground.

Just say no to pepsi and coke.

I bet it'll kill a roach. Probably has more pesticides in it than raid. LOL!

They must use Neem.
NEEM = Scientifically Proven Most powerful, Safest and Cheapest Natural Pesticide.

i think caffeeine works as a pesticide...

Two years ago I was so naive about all of this....

@Nimadan shocking, yes. And there's more, GM foods are also designed with inbuilt pesticides :-(

Thats in India dude its their production regulations that are lax. In the USA if they found that they would be heavily fined and watched closer so it didn't happen again. I doubt anything was done about it over there even when they are caught red handed. And btw Pepsi in any form will kill plant pests because of the chems in it as well as making the plant taste wrong for the bugs. Caffeine also has negative effects on plant pests.

Believe it or not it's actually the caffeine contained in both drinks that is making it a useful pesticide. All fruits and vegetables naturally grow caffeine as a natural pesticide to keep from being eaten by insects. In short, CAFFEINE IS A NATURAL PESTICIDE.

and what is the danger of ants to the crops? none. ants do not eat the plants they eat the insects. people really need to educate themselves on permaculture. this coke method probably works for many different reasons we don't even know :)
@Twisted86,
The majority of the people seem to lack the neurological hardware to analyze anything complicated. Of those who are intelligent, a large percentage of them seem to be operating under emotional and/or social constraints that prevent them from thinking freely except under specific circumstances, usually connected to their jobs. The second they go off duty, they turn their brain off as well, and keep it that way until they have to go back to work.

It worked! I've used store bought pestisides and they did nothing. I used Coke and the next day the bugs were dead. Ha Ha
