Crosswalk Collection IV: Walking to the End of the Highway!

This is our Cross Walk Collection IV video of our walking and preaching between the municipalities of SAN JULIAN and ARTECHE, EASTERN SAMAR, PHILIPPINES. On this particular stretch of National Highway, we hit the END OF THE HIGHWAY in ARTECHE! For the record, this is the FARTHEST NORTH that any YWAMer in the history of YWAM Philippines (1972ff) has ventured "north on the eastern highway' of Samar.

The next phase will be Northern Samar for five days on a path, road, and motorcycle-type paths WITHOUT A SUPPORT VEHICLE.

This is Part 4 in the series of the YWAM School of Evagelism Team from Manila, led by Evangelist-Missionary Mitch Metzger. The SOE consists of 12-wks of lecture training and 12-wks of outreach application on the field. This particular application phase consists of walking 800 KMS with a 12-foot Cross through over 50 towns around the entire outside National Highway of the Island of Samar, Philippines. @PrinceValiantThesnob Unfortunatly, I am part of a org that limits my freedom. I proposed taking my Cross from Davao to Surigao in '09 but even that was shot down for security reasons. My org has not allowed me (or any of us foreigners) to work & serve in Jolo since '91. From '89 to '91 we did have a British team that did much literature translation work down there but after '91 all foreigners were pulled out.Only Filipinos can go there now. To hav mor freedom would requir me to leav my org.

Oh yes! And we even continued right past Arteche all the way through to the other side of Rawis and directly onward to Catarman completing at Calbayog for a FULL 804 KM circle around Samar!
