  • Rod still sounded very good, in spite of it all. A real trouper, just like Johnny Olson was. I miss them both very much. Having them in my living room every day made them feel like they were family. I totally hate "Coming or Going". I'd much rather see Range Game or even Freeze Frame (which I dislike too)....Push Over & Flip Flop are awesome though!

  • Yeah, and in addition, "2 for the Price of 1" was also played for a car too.

  • @systemoperator Yes, the handicapped contestant shown being called down to contestant's row at the beginning of this act won his way on stage later in the show and played Switcheroo.

  • Yet another glorified Double Prices.

  • Although I like the physical prop, this game is way too easy. There are a bunch of 50/50 pricing games, but they usually don't have a neat prop like this.

  • @vball7732 Rod refers to the announcer, Rod Roddy

  • I was in studio for the rehersal and premiere of this game. The prop had to be redone because the wrong game title was on it!

  • Are you guys calling Bob Rod? His name is Bob.

  • This happened the same day a handicapped contestant played "Switcheroo".

  • I think the reason Rod kept working on the show despite illness was because he needed the money to pay medical bills and he probably wanted to leave money for relatives in both California and Texas after he died. Also, I bet he didn't want to let his fans down.
