this video is BS i worked at Walmart for a year after college, spent 10 years in the military and have a BS in Engineering. I was told i was under qualified for a entry lvl management position. The same position i applied for was taken up by some one that was 22 and their mom worked in the garden center. Walmart likes to keep their employees in the gutter. Im 37 and have no time to wait around. Oh Im a man
What happened to the promises/pledges associated to Change We Can Believe In made by the legitimate US citizen President Barack "Barry" Hussein Obama II while he was a candidate?
@assassin6637 OK, so why is it the case that the poor in nations with free markets are better off than the poor in nations with more command economies? If you make a graph with the Heritage index of economic freedom on the horizontal axis, and income levels of the bottom 20% of each nation on the vertical axis, you get a really strong correlation. The nations seem to line up. If you want the poor to be better off, then you want free markets. Govt control hurts the poor. Look it up.
@assassin6637 Everything I have written above is truthful to the best of my ability. Care to point out a specific point I am wrong on and why I am wrong? Or is it all you can do to cast insults?
@Redrumx21 when there's a Wal-mart on every corner, it's kind of inevitable. And that, is exactly what their corporation depends on: Wipe out all other competition (therefore enforcing a monopoly) and being the only friggin choice.
@CAFTait I work part time as a school substitute teacher. I have 2 masters degrees and only make about $15 per hour.
I know that for many, employment at WalMart is better than their next best alternative. That is why they chose to accept employment there. If WalMart were gone, these people would have to resort to a worse alternative.
Working for any big bureaucracy can suck.
But govt regulation destroys jobs. The min wage is a great example of this.
