A Scene from Chinatown - Directing Final

This is my final in 384 Techniques of Film Directing, at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

I directed, shot and edited this myself.

equipment used was a Canon 550D (rebel t2i) mounted on a cheap 30 dollar shoulder-rig from Cowboy studios. Recorded sound through an ART USB pre-amp, with a shotgun mic.

It's a scene from the 1974 classic Chinatown, originally directed by Roman Polanski and written by Robert Towne.

Thanks:) Yeah, The cowboystudio shoulder rig actually works alot better than I would have expected. I ducktaped my sound equipment to the back of it as well and it kind of acts as a counterweight.

The film Memories in Limbo, in my channel is also shot using the rig. But on a really heavy Bolex 16mm camera. And even that worked fairly well. I'm so glad I used 30 dollars on that thing:)
