I have a 96 and it gets floored all the time
these trucks are very tough.

I have lower gears, posi, the next size smaller tire, hypertech tuner, and the throttle body restriction plate removed and i maxed at 130mph with a garmin gps. these trucks are the best cause i also have 204,000 miles on mine and been flooring it since it left the dealer in 98.

is that a 305? i have a '98 with a 350 and it'll hit 100 a lot faster than that, don't know if you had it floored or not though

i have a '98 and usually the gas gage just jumps around a bit. probably didn't actually go through enough gas to affect the gage reading

i have a 97 gmc sierra 4x4 with a vortec 350 and i havent got the limiter to kick in. ive had it to 95 mph but i seldom go over 70 because im running mud tires and the handling gets pretty loose and the truck likes to float

yea look at my other video i have and look at my mud tires when you go fast, the truck does float all over the road.
