What I wrote is quite accurate; even if one believes the tales in the Old Testament, part of what is now claimed as 'Israel' was once the Kingdom of Judah and the land of the Philistines. The only time when Israel even approximately fitted the land now claimed was under the Hasmonean Kingdom, 140 BCE - 37 BCE.
