Extreme Winds Take Down a Tree

I had been watching the dark clouds coming when I heard the wind pick up and saw dust and branches fly past. In this video you can see part of the barn has already fallen and one of the trees comes down while the cameras pointed at it. It falls at 0:29

Once the wind started I wasn't paying attention to where the camera was facing. I was trying to keep the dirt from scratching the lens. It was moving through the air fast enough to be painful when it hit my skin, so I didn't think it hitting the filter was too good.

I would have gotten my cars into some shelter pronto, even up against a building if you don't have a garage. When we get high wind storms, I try to get things situated if I'm home....

@nancypo1 We probably should have, but the wind didn't last for more then a minute. One of the trucks was parked under one of the trees that partially came down. We figured it wasn't safe enough to go move it.
