The Term " Wing It " might be an under statement for this interview. My microphone guy brought me a faulty external microphone and the interview sheet was misplaced. My southern accent is going strong, as I was a bit frustrated with the events as they unfolded. Lost was kind enough to give us fifteen minutes in their booth for the interview so I had to wing it. As for the great Mark Richards...he was a gentlemann and very easy to work with. You will not find a more professional person. This content is special because it's little known that Mark Richards started off a McCoy team rider just like his rival Cheyne Horan and a long list of other pro surfers from the era. You will rarely see Geoff McCoy given proper credit for much of his influence...including the modern surfboard planshape. Here you have a four time world surfing champion and one of Surfing's first true super stars give credit where credit is due and discussing his own vast influence on the art of surfing. I must say I greatly enjoyed doing the interview. I will post a better edited version later that will be missing me losing my place in the middle of the interview and other mistakes.
I hope you enjoy the content rather than the mistakes
