Final Fantasy VIII - The Extreme [Remastered]

The Extreme, by Nobuo Uematsu. Like the previous releases, the idea was again to enhance the overall effect of the piece by adding additional percussion, doubling certain voices, and other techniques.

Notes: Adding the rock band into an orchestral setting while maintaining the original balance with a more 'formal' setting was challenging to say the least. Also, reproducing the opening section required some creative decision making when deciding how to catch the ambiance of the original.

I won't lie, the precussion toward the end threw me off and in some instances, the lead guitar seemed too overpowering. Otherwise, great job man. Now that's someone doing FF8 some justice.
