Wow...I have seen and heard many TOSCAS, but this is one of the BEST. What a talented soprano she is. I love to see how original, unique and magnifique she is..Ms. Coelho is able to master the role of Floria Tosca. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful video clip.

Wow! Diese Frau gehört an die Spitze. Ihr Piano, ihr Ausdruck, sind gleichrangig mit Montserrat Caballe und Hildegard Behrend.
Welch ein bewegender Genuss ihr zuzuhören.

You are completely right. The way Eliane Coelho phrases and colours every word in each verse is amazing. She allows everything we could hope: musicality, expressivity and intelligence. Excellent technical control, but it never bars her from sounding expressive and completely committed to the drama. The only flaws I found in her are occasional pitch variations and "forced" chest notes. Apart from that, she's just great, as few others nowadays. And, in these spinto roles, she's the best. ;-)

Se il "Vissi d'Arte" del tuo Concerto è bello , in questa esecuzione in Teatro sei ancor migliore : basterebbe ascoltare come emetti il Si bemolle finale e come scendi a Mezzavoce sul La bemolle e sul Sol per fare di Tè una Cantante di Altissima Scuola...e le tua intensità drammatica è sublime , come pure il buon gusto con cui interpreti addirittura ciascuna sillaba di ogni parola ! Sei una Grande !!! Ti prego , vieni anche in Italia , siamo stanchi delle solite Tosche appena liriche !!!

In Recital sei stupenda ma in Palcoscenico dei DIVINA ! Grande Tecnica , Voce importante , mezzevoci timbrate ed intense , Presenza scenica da Grande Attrice , Interprete di Alto Profilo ! Mi piace , Brava, Bravissssssssima !!! Grazje per quello che ci doni col Tuo Canto !!!

I'm from Brazil just like her, i'm soooo proud of this enormous talent she has!
But I just don't know why she doesn't have the right and very deserved recognition for her jod and her art.
Please great opera houses, let's look at her with better eyes...
