Knitting Factory, 3/13/2009.
Wow!
I thought I would run out of tape - I had to edit the intro to get this just under 10 minutes for youtube restrictions.
An amazing performance, no? Check out that sitarla solo!
(hope the band is cool with this going up!)

  • We love ya JOE!! R.I.P.

  • かっこよすぎる。

  • look for the versions on YouTube with "HD1080p" in the title. Very good audio and video quality.

  • @tkarches As geeeeeoheffeff said, it's a hybrid between an electric guitar and a sitar. half of the strings resonate while playing the others. you can't really hear it very well because of the audio quality though

  • R.I.P

    into the stone..............

  • R.I.P. Akira "Joe" Yamanaka

  • How many strings are on that bass guitar?

  • Oh man, one of the coolest bands ever!

  • @Geeeeoheffeff ahh now I understand, thanks"=)

  • @Vox572X That beast of a guitar he's playing on the right. I THINK he designed it himself, in any case there's very few of them. They're a hybrid between an electric guitar and a sitar.
