We dont cherry pick the good parts... And that...those were the laws and commands god provided for that particular time and culture.

It makes more sense that man has changed because culture has changed. We (western culture) no longer live in tribes.

I thought god was perfect! Why would he change his ways to fit modern man? It makes more sense that man's idea of god changed as western society improved technologically. Yes that's right--idea! That's all god is anyw
