Aspec motorports mufflers. I had to track down to get these from the manufacture because they dont sell just these mufflers by their self. you can only get them in a completed exhaust system.

in Japan yes the SC300(soarer) came with the 1jz, in USA no SC300 ever came from the factory with a 1jz. EVERY SC300 is a 2jz-GE from the factory, SC400 had a 1uz from the factory.

My car is a Sc300 so I didn't have to worry about anything like that.

so you had to get a complete engine harness for that 400. correct? most of the people i see use the 300. because of the similarity in the harness. what engine mounts did u use also

@cf1jztt It's called an engine swap genius, it doesn't change what kind of car it is. I have an sc400 with a 2jz, but I don't go around calling it an sc300 just because I did an engine swap.

except it would have been a Toyota Soarer because it was never available in the states with a 1jz..

Car now has a built 1.5jz, should be starting it up very shortly.

Lexus uses letters and numbers to describe what sort of model/shape and the engine capacity. Hence the sc300, stands for sports coupe 3ltr, sc400= 4ltr, so any car that has the 1j would have to be called an SC250.

Lexus and Toyota are the same company. Most cars Toyota bring out, you can find a lexus model with more bells and whistles.
