After being baptized, Jesus fasted for forty days and nights in the desert. During this time, the devil appeared to Jesus and tempted him to demonstrate his supernatural powers as proof of his divinity, each temptation being refused by Jesus with a quote of scripture from the Book of Deuteronomy. The Gospels state that having failed, the devil departed and angels came and brought nourishment to Jesus.

  • I love Jesus. The fact that he came here on earth and lived a sin free life, shows that with his help, we can accomplish this goal. Maybe, not, because we are born in sin and have sinned before, but Hell see that we're really trying. I think that God is the best example and therefore my number one idol. I love God with all my heart and wish to get baptized soon. Revelations chapter 22, last verse and Mattheew chapter 24 verse 36.

  • The desert is a place where everything is dead

that represents hell where Jesus conquers his worst enemy.

  • Be Gone satan!

  • The portrayal of Satan here is rather 'Hollywood cliched', no doubt, though I'd think Satan would appear as just a respectable human, or perhaps a well-mannered presence.

  • Why's Shatan always shown as being crepy and cackling? Which would you choose to serve: a laughing guy in black covered in blood with a creepy-sounding voice, or a nice-looking person who's handsome and seems to be caring about you? If you pick the former, I don't want to be in the same room as you and some sharp objects...

  • @xxxLOVINMUSICxxx I love Jesus to, but we can't compare to Jesus. We could never hope to live sin-free lives. Not that I'm saying we shouldn't try, but we will always fall short, that is why there is forgiveness and God and Jesus do forgive, but getting back to Jesus, he was the Son-of-God, so he was blessed with a power that we do not have.

  • @sdchargers35 Lecrae music is good and glorify God

  • i love u lord..
