The closed Waterloo International station on Saturday 24 November 2007 (the last shot taken on Wednesday 28 November 2007). It has been abandoned since Eurostar moved to St. Pancras on 14 November 2007.
sorry this is a super late reply to your comment, but all the escalators down there have been boarded off, and they've covered the entrances with panels :\ ive always wanted to go down there one night, not to cause any damage or anything, just to see it
Rather sad to see this fine section of Waterloo closed off and it's difficult as a lay person to understand why these few platforms will cost so much to keep empty or why work is needed before other trains use the rails. Does any one have backgrond on this topic?
