  • Man I fly this plane in real life and I've been searching for a model. Whered you get this one if I may ask?

  • It was either on AVsim(dot)Com or FlightSim(dot)com. I can't find the exact link though sry. If I find it I'll PM you.

  • I love the dog in the back seat!

What airport did you takeoff from?

  • Took off Nashua's Boire Field (KASH) and was flying around in that area to the East of Nashua and south east of Manchester (KMHT).

  • You never actually stalled the airplane. Its important to understand that a stall warning horn is just what it says - a warning. The horn indicates an impending stall when it first sounds, not that the aircraft is actually stalling. You are just above a stall, but the wings are still generating sufficient lift.

  • Flight Sims are pretty realistic, however you can do stuff that is impossible with a real aircraft. You would not be holding altitude if it was fully stalled. That would be "slow flight" and at the onset of a stall.I fly a real Grumman AA1A and when it stalls it drops like a three hole brick! However I have done some incredible things with a Boeing 737 on Microsoft FS.

  • Why are you doing power on stalls with the flaps out?

  • This isnt a stall, its slow flight.

  • you can do this in real life but i dont know many planes except the decathalon that can do this let me know of any others

  • its a "Power On" stall and you have flaps...

  • The aircraft was never stalled. You Took it to the stall warning thats all. Another thing i noticed was that u ahd flaps applied, an POWER ON STALL is done with no flaps, and a power off stall is done with flaps where the max. amount of flaps needed is 30 deegrees.

  • LOL... at these angle the flaps act like airbrakes = (

  • I've never played with the simulators but you can hang it on the prop simply by flying at less than best glide with power. Its a common technique that we use for very short field landings. You can get less than book numbers. I used to do a lot of flying from small strips in Mexico and used this technique a lot. Just don't lose an engine while doing it!! hahahaa

  • we use the first notch of flaps in the DA-20's for Power ons, but he is doing slow flight and we use full flaps for that.

  • This is called slow flight. :)

  • if u try to stall a A/C,if altitude not drop(even include 20ft),ur not stall a plane
