Get On The Floor - a 3 am mix experiment

So...this is what I do at 3 in the morning.
I wanted to figure out how to make a decent video/audio mix while working out tunes.

I used:
1. A kodak easyshare C743 in video mode
2. Sony Vegas 7.0
3. Presonus Firepod
4. Some earbuds (that actually where a promo item in a pack of razors....go figure)

I mixed Mike and Louis a tiny bit to the right and myself a little to the left. I tried to also mix in a bit of what the easyshare camera picked up but I don't think that's evident really until the break somewhere around 2:53.

Anywho, I know I got a little carried away with the flams but that's the way I practice them; within the context of a tune. Don't get a chance to just goof on a gig of course.


I just realized that my sweatshirt makes it look like I have breasts!!!! lol

You should use your thumb to slide up the the A combined with your ring finger on it's octave like Louis Johnson does so as to get that gowl sound. He has a video showing how he did it on here. I think it's cool...it's trickier but it's crazier. It sends chills up my spine.
