Fuel protestors have brought parts of Manchester city centre to a standstill for a short time this morning.
Around 30 lorries led by a horse drawn cart have staged a go-slow from Salford.
They set off at 6.45 am along the A6 in protest at the rising cost of petrol and diesel.
Organisers say they chose April Fool's day because the government is making a fool out of people over fuel prices.
What a joke the fuel prices are how the fuck do the goverment expect you to make a living. GOOD JOB drivers
