Minnesota Wild GM Chuck Fletcher discusses trading Brent Burns and the 2nd round pick in the 2012 NHL draft to the San Jose Sharks for Devin Setoguchi, Charlie Coyle and the 28th overall pick in the 2011 NHL draft.
@sr016ify most NHL goalies now a days r getting used to seeing a left handed shot and adding a right handed shot will mix it up for the opposing goalie
Huge sharks fan, I'm glad to see burns coming to sj. seto was fast and a good shark who was clutch in big games, but adding brent burns who could end up being a top 2 d man with teal. Can't go wrong. We'll miss ya, seto, but this trade was worth it with the depth sj already has.
While I hate to see Burnsie leaving ... it was BEYOND time for the Wild to DO SOMETHING. For a team that had such a promising start when the franchise started, they were spiralling downhill fast. Burnsie is a Great Guy ... but, unfortunately, you sometimes have to take some chances and give up your great talent to fill holes. When other teams look at the Wild roster to salivate over a player or two, who else would they select other than Burns. Koivu, but that's it.
the Wild got more young players, but the sharks got a physical freak in burns... as a wild fan Im really going to miss burnsie, but i truly believe he will be BETTER with the sharks. only time will tell which team will benefit more
Too many trades in hockey, it's like I'm cheering for a logo and not people. This is why college football isn't as cool as the NFL.

Right handed shots are few and far between. Kind of like in baseball if the hitter or pitcher is a lefty it's added value.

Why is a right shot so good?
U hear them always say "he has a right shot"
They say it in a good way.
Why is left shot not as good?
