@egbigan If "only white America knows about the world", then why in God's name are they on the fore front of the ageless smear campaign against Africa? Why is it mainly them who proposes theory after theory on the absence of history in Africa.We learn in a white American educationa system that when the white man arrived in Africa "they were slaughtering each other, practicing cannabalism, didn't know anything about God/civilization, and every other negative thing you can think of.

@egbigan You can in no way generalize black Americans as "not showering" because most of us don't stink, just as most Americans don't stink. It doesn't matter which part of Africa, in America, Africa is seen as one place, regardless of national boundaries, so you are stereotyped as such.

@egbigan I don't feel these are "isolated" incidents because nearly every African I've (and many others) met don't use deodorant; and if they do, they have already been told to do so by an American. I never said they don't shower. I'm sure it's a combination of their genes (Africans possess larger sweat glands than any other people to suit the hot African climate), their diets (the food they eat), and cultural practices (not used to wearing deodorant back home.

@egbigan most Americans don't travel, regardless of race. If "only white America knows about the world", than why are the media images produced by WHITE AMERICA so horrid and patethic? Who do you think perpetuate negative images of Africa and black people in general. WHITE AMERICA is the same source who propose that Africans come from monkeys, possess monkey brains, and have sub-human intelligence. Hell, WHITE AMERICA is the one who is responsible for the Tarzan movies.

@22hebrew what surprised me about black americ. you only seem to focus on few isolated incident and make it AFRICAN thing. That is the only reason why I don't always blame the white media . How many Africans do you know? My mum (biracial) make is take shower 3 times a day ...And I know plenty of AAs who don't take shower ,,should I generalize? Just think , ask yourself what part of AFRICA? then you talk.
