Transitions and effects improved from version 2.0, but otherwise the same video. A matchup between clips from the show (Man vs Wild: Desert Island") and YouTube videos from Oahu. Watch as Bear struggles to survive in heavily touristed areas, never far from a road (or a golf course, for that matter). It's all so that if you're ever stranded on valuable beachfront property with a camera crew in tow, you'll know how to survive.

the thing is survivor man is allowed to be alone because he barely does anything. he never puts himself in perilous situations like bear does. the network cant allow bear to go out and do the crazy shit he does by himself. plus its just more entertaining watching bear over les.

there are so many tropical islands that look so allike, the program might not be as legit as it claims to but I think it doesn't get to that level.

Bear may be an authentic survivalist. I'm not going to say he isn't. I just haven't seen him provide evidence to support this claim on his TV show.
