  • Hey! Im also interrested about the schematics on how you did you do this. Can you send it to me or post where did you connect led's wires?

  • @nikozimi It's really quite simple, most of the time is taken up stripping the door skins and the under dashboard panels to run the wiring. All I did was removed the handles, drilled a little hole to fit the led from the end that pivots on the door not the part that pulls away from the door. Run the wires through the dashboard and tapped them in to the wire that comes down the window pillar that lights the courtesy light in the roof lining when the doors are unlocked. UK passenger side foot well

  • i know you answered this before but i just wanted to ask you, how did u place the led in your door handle? did u pop of the handle drill a hole then fit the led in it? it would wiggle out or anything? please reply, thats my only problem?

  • @Chillax808 Yes it was very simple, Open the door and lift up the rubber seal located up by the lock/handle you will see a hole with a torx screw head inside. loosen this enough to free out the handle, BUT don't turn it too far or it will fall inside the door!

Then once the handle is out just drill a small hole tight enough to fit LED, I didn't use any glue just a little silicone sealant to keep damp out.

  • @Chillax808 Yeah, remove the handle and drill a small hole in it to fix the led. I used silicone sealant on the back to hold it in place and for water proofing, but the part doesn't come under any stress so need not glue it in place. then run the wiring through the door in to the dash area and connect wiring to wire that lights courtesy light.

  • I have replaced all the airbags in my car with bags of cement, just for shits and giggles

  • @Tallandcharming Interesting!
