Indeed, I was working in MB dealership a few years back, and was given a company car, a W211 E320Cdi... very very nice one, wanted a W211 since then. But still, want a E400, even though it's twice the turbos, and more pistons to maintain, I think it's worth it :D

Still, seen the concept (almost unchanged since the first design arts of 2004, sad). Must say, the only reason I'm happy to see this E-Class is that it means W211 will go down in price, I'll finally be able to get the E400 CDi. BTW, the new one is W212, right?

it's flatter then the current one and therefor looks longer, but still is alot smaller than the SClass

Mhhh maybe even:
40% W211 (including engines and 4-split headlamps), 20% W204 (rectangularcy of it all), 20% w221 and 20% new W212 stuff (flatter looking body)
i still prefer one of the last w210's though.
Mhhh ... a fully equiped w210 with one of the 6.3 AMG engines =) oh yeah.
