@Chaosridden22 Is it Lars Fredriksen and teh Bastards featuring Tim and Matt? Because they're both on stage...

Rancid were a band that meant alot to me growing up but having just heard this and The Bastards cover and their replacing of the lyric "The system has failed you, dont fail yourself" with some self referential bilge about going to California I'm realising that they are a bunch of middlers that have done very well by the system singing to fellow middle class trustafarians. Punk rock they aint.
Billy Bragg speaks to the average bloke whos been failed by the system with a message of positivity

@Chaosridden22 ye they play this song too :)

i don´t know what idea you have of communism, but i think you better should read karl marx and try to understand what he meant before you post things like that.
by the way: capitalism or neoliberalism is an ideology, too.
capitalism is not close to anarchy. capitalism is organized crime.

i hate commie skum!

Communism only works as long as you have someone to borrow from. The ChiCom's realized this which is why most of their economic decision's lean more toward capitalism than communism... sadly the point could be argued that recently they've been more of a capitalist country than the U.S- economically, of course.

yeah you're right, i personally think communism can work if done right, but and ideology is an ideology
This comment has received too many negative votes show
It's Lars Fredriksen and the Bastards with Tim Armstrong guesting, not Rancid.
