Many people will ask the question, "Why does God allow suffering?" Dinesh D'Souza talks about how free will is a blessing from God, but also opens up the possibility for suffering. Taken from a special Q&A session with Pastor Greg Laurie and Dinesh D'Souza, from the Crossover Series.

  • God is good!!

  • WOW!!

How on earth do supposedly rational, educated ADULTS manage to convince themselves that these pathetic attempts at answers are in any way reasonable.

How does a mature grown up live with this pathetic childish wishful thinking? It's quite incredible.

"God is good". How does one come up with this conclusion when even the most cursory glance at the bible clearly shows the contrary?

Why would a good god condone slavery, sacrifice, murder, even genocide. Or how about murdering children?

  • I watched all these clips and Souza never once answers a question head on.

  • @Aphex217Twin: Libertarian free will is not a historic Christian view.

  • There are so many holes with the freewill theodicy, I don't know where to begin. God has freewill but can't sin according to christians, which disproves it right there. That sinning and suffering have nothing to do with freewill. We'll have freewill in heaven but can't sin there proving that again. We can't have freewill anyway because of determinism, because of randomness, everything is either one or the other. Gods forknoledge proves determinism, so you couldn't do otherwise anyway.
