I love love LOVE Pearl Ex pigments! Like I said, they technically are not eyeshadow, but tons of people use them that way and haven't had any problems. The only color I would really advise against is Sparkling Copper; it is a medium-coarse glitter.
My favorite colors are Aztec Gold, Bright Yellow, Turquoise, Blue Russett, and Micropearl. I really want to try Pumpkin Orange, Salmon Pink, and Carbon Black, which are not included in the 32-color set...but I'll wait. :)
For the record: yes, I have heard of "Ranger Perfect Pearls" pigments, but I am unsure as to whether or not they are safe enough for make-up use. I'll try to look in to it.
I purchased my pigments from Jo-ann.com. You can order one of the 12-color sets (warning: I've finally seen one in person and they have smaller jars!), the 32-color set that I have (a lot of metallics, but some other neat colors, too!), or an individual jar (pricier than buying a full set, but still cheap, and there are plenty of colors to choose from.
I did have a song by Genesis playing at the very end, but, um, YouTube muted the audio. I don't just mean the song, I mean, they muted THE ENTIRE FUCKING VIDEO. I get that there are copyright issues and whatnot, but seriously, YouTube? Seriously? You don't think you guys are being a pain in the ass by muting the ENTIRE GODDAMN VIDEO?! Hence, I reuploaded the whole thing. I'll try to do annotations later; right now, I'm too annoyed with YouTube's muting bullshit to screw around with it.
