I'm a huge Arsenal fan and I don't know what is so good with this. The fact is they couldn't find out what to do with the ball so they kept it at the defense. The opponent didn't care, so they didn't chase our defenders down. What so special? It is boring. I can pass the ball like this, too. Really, what's the point? A pass should be done with attacking reasons. Why pass the ball if the other one won't do anything with it?

:/ my high school soccer team could do this 2x longer on a crowned football field. I'm hoping one of the best teams in the world can do it on a much bigger field when the opposing team's forwards are allowing the back line to switch the field that easily. On top of that they didn't do anything with it. Everyone knows a 2 goal lead is the most dangerous. Instead they sit back and waste time instead of solidifying the win. Fail video is fail.

1)make the oppostion tired and weary as they keep on pressing

2) maintain possession of the ball while leading in the score

3)opening up gaps on the defences for a through ball for chances

4) have fun with the ball =X

@Niklasson01 the progress is that the opponents have less time to try and comeback. By passing the ball + keeping possession, we are making the other team work hard to get the ball back = they get frustrated + tired more quickly. Hence towards the end of the game arsenal are more likely to score compared to the other team having less of a chance to score due to this tiredness and frustration caused!!!!!!!!!!!

dude, not that impressive. most of it is back passes and the opponents are not chasing them down collectively and leaving too much space between the man they are supposed to mark. it's obvious that their opponent already gave up at this point or just suck. they should've done this against chelsea or utd the past 2 weeks, then i'd be impressed. actually, no, backpasses aren't impressive.
