See I'm usually an Obama apologists, but I think that when traveling in the motorcades, the POTUS's have a little too much breathing run. Some videos of leaders/royalty in other countries such as Japan, Britain, don't always seem to block off both sides of the street for half an hour. Just the side they need for about the time they need. Sometimes even only the lane they need without stopping traffic while on the highway. I think the secret service can still protect the POTUS.
