I'm not buying this propaganda and neither should you. You have to be a bad sober driver to be a bad drunk driver. They should crack down more on road rage and speeding because DUI's are usually garbage.

@piftorres That's a great idea actually. Unfortunately, in Britain, we could not afford to have these checkpoints. (Our money goes on MP's expensive new kitchens for their second homes or massage chairs to name just a couple!) But to get back to the checkpoints, this would stop a lot of binge drinking that goes on as people would be too worried to have too much to drink at night if they had to drive the next day.

It unfortunately is true. but i think if you drink a little bit after a very long haul driving its nice. That too if your car is not a very nice one... drinking little like one beer and driving is nice i think... Because that will reduce your fatigue and dont drink if you are going like 500-600 kms only upto 100 km it may be alrite

It's good because at some level at least it tries to level with you, i.e. "Most nights you'll get home". Better to be honest to a receptive audience rather than exaggerate and try to scare a non-receptive one.
