  • i posted a link to Ray Wolfe's online guide to Eraserhead in the description

  • At 17:11...2, 4, 1, 6 adds up to 13. Just pointing that out.

  • @000Metallegions000 it's amazing how many details people can keep pointing out that knowing David Lynch most likely did not occur by chance. i like that this comment section has served as more of an educational forum with intelligent insight rather than the typical empty YouTube drivel. any thoughts on the significance of the 13 for someone to find/read later ?? i just posted a link to Tom Wolfe's online guide to Eraserhead in the description but maybe you have other thoughts ???

  • @000Metallegions000 or perhaps some of the other instances of 13 that Tom Wolfe's essay deliberately leaves out ???

  • Watched this movie based on a intuitive suggestion got all the way through watching it uncomfortably might I add and flashbacks of the film creeped up on me the next day out of the blue gave me the strangest feeling and a very unpleasant one at that. With that said I do not regret watching this film for it to have such a effect on me means a lot I think everyone should see this once in their life time it will strengthen your mentality

  • @jeremypaul138 this film always gives me a weird deja vu. i was in a recording studio in Chicago....was still there at about 7-8 the next morning (Sept 11th 2001) sampling textures of the soundscape of this for the track i was working on when i was interrupted by the fire dept asking that we evacuate the building. we were near the Sears Tower and found out planes had flown into the twin towers and that the tallest building in the states at that point might be a target.

  • I'm going to watch this with the snow effect on.

  • @megazordman2

You're a pretty vapid person for even mentioning the special effects, and I hope you fail your class as a result.

  • I love this film, I love everything about it and I love how repeat viewing of it trains your mind to look for clues in other films, not just those of David Lynch. I would not normally mention another film on this page, but I am seeing the same kind of clues in the television show Breaking Bad and I know Vince Gilligan is a fan of Lynch. I have come here to see if like-minded people are seeing clues in Breaking Bad as well. Please let me know if you have, I cannot find a discussion of it.

  • The fact that the maker expresses his beliefs through directing the movie yet refuses to state the meaning is quite amusing, and, if you will, thought provoking.

  • This was absolutely mesmerizing. Stunning movie.

  • The scariest film of all time...Welcome To My Nightmare. Thanks for posting!

  • 100% the most disturbing film I have ever seen. But I remember the first time I saw it, it reminded me of that car crash metaphor where you want to look away (or change the channel), but for some reason can't. And here I am watching the film several times just to see what new interpretations I can get from it.

  • what if it's all in Henry's mind ? ... What if the whole film is a representation of his fear of being a father ?

  • @000Metallegions000 very well put

  • @CarellaRoss Henry was an unlucky man. Unlucky indeed. But, in heaven, everything is fine.

I'll leave it open for interpretation.
