Just caught up with THE COMEDIANS. It's slow, stodgy, unimaginative, boring, slow-paced, poorly plotted, ridiculous and pointless. This "making of" featurette is much more entertaining. Sometimes I have the have the impression that filmmakers feel the need to murder their own material, but not just murder it, they have the gut it, hang it out to dry, salt it, and then present the dessicated carcass to the viewer without the slightest bit of juice left to enjoy. THE COMEDIANS is one such.

I love this film Elizabeth always looks beautiful and her perfomance was very good and Richard Burton is always perfect.. Unforgettable couple!!.
