@737tech : Ah. Thanks for clearing that up. I love these people who create kit planes, helping to make it more affordable for people to own their own plane. I'm too poor to afford one now (used to own a Cherokee but now I'm married with children! But someday I'd like to make a scale model of the Zenair plane. Would make a great RC subject for electric power!

@eimb1999 That was the 601, they have a mod to fix the problem..

I would like to tongue-punch Jennifer Anniston's fart box.

@eimb1999 it was a different aircraft and old news.

The metal used on these aircraft (6061-T6) does not "have" to be treated for corrosion. However, it might be a good idea to do this if keeping the aircraft in a highly corrosive environment (salt water areas, etc). As many opinions on this question as there are builders!

Hi. Do you have to treat all the metal for anti-corrosion or not?
-
how much does it cost?
Please be very careful about repeating things like that before you do some research. Even saying something like that is not fair to all the hard work that has gone into that plane! Thanks.

Absolutely no truth to that at all. You may be confusing this with another aircraft model.
